The way it apparently works is to take three or four shots and combine them. Wiggle the camera just right and the surrounds go into a short of gentle blur, kind of like the blur you get in tilt-shift that fools your mind into thinking you're looking at a miniature shot.<br /><br />Of course, the quality of the atmosphere that night was something ineffable and marvellous.
