[EagleCreekFire] Smoke From A Not-Too-Distant Fire at 122nd and Stark

3487.
This was the scene on SE 122nd Avenue looking south from Stark at approximately 7:30 AM today:

Attenuated colors, gloomy; trees hazing out on the near distance. And, in the far distance, the flank of a local butte called Mount Scott, usually seen in the gap between the trees at the top of that rise, is only visible if you know how to look for it (it's slightly darker than the gray haze of the sky).

This is the way it is right now, morning, afternoon, and evening. The night is actually something of a mercy, as it's all hidden from view.
