Perhaps it's just so remarkable that Starbucks is closing any stores at all ... that coffee bean empire that seemed to be immune from market oversaturation and hard times ... or maybe it's a canary in a coal-mine thing ... but Starbucks closing any stores at all is big big big.
But for perspective I think it notable that those 600 stores are coming out of a network of (at last count) 15,012 stores worldwide.
That's only about 4% of all Starbucks that are closing.
Regardless of the way one may think of her, the Melusine isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
