[oregon] They're Documenting Oregon

1650.

... The WikiProject Oregon crew.

There's also a local blog so you don't have to go all Wiki, if you don't wants to.

I decided to try and be a part of this. It's a noble undertaking.

Good stuff,  peoples.

Glad to have you on board, looking forward to seeing you around the wiki, and the blog! I'm sure we have many needs for a designer's talents...the main thing that comes to mind is the main WikiProject Oregon page on Wikipedia (and related pages)...any input or bold redesigns welcome!

Thanks, Pete. One thing I've noticed right off the bat is that designing for Wikipedia is like no other design tool I've used yet ... It took me a lot of research to figure out how to make the userbox go flush-right, and I'm not entirely clear on how I did it!

But such things crumble under a steady onslaught, and I'm certain I'll be able to give it a figuring out!

It's true..the design stuff is incredibly arcane. Very easy to do very simple things, but it gets really weird really quick if you want to stretch the limits.

I'd suggest if you have any design ideas, feel free to propose them by just uploading a sample image, and those of us with the technical knowhow can try to help implement them...

Ah! That's no problem there. I can thumbnail with the best of them!
