[ad_design] Sometimes, Spell-check Can't Save You

976. From an animated ad on a local TV Station's site:


While it is admirable and laudable that a medical procedure not be frightening (no scaring), I think what they meant to say was no scarring.

The trouble with spell check, you see, is that it's not context-check. Scaring here is correctly spelt.

(FWIW: cryoablation is a non-invasive method for removing certain non-malignant fibrous tumors)
